How does a New Year’s Eve
chauffeur service work?
With a New Year’s Eve chauffeur service you have your own car and chauffeur for the whole evening. Your chauffeur collects you from your hotel or home, drives you to dinner, a concert or a gala, waits nearby and brings you safely back after midnight. You book by the hour or for the whole evening, at an individual fixed price.
New Year’s Eve in Salzburg tends to have several chapters: a festive dinner, a concert or gala, fireworks over the old town and a party that often runs well past midnight. This is also the night when taxis are hardest to find – and whoever drives has to skip the champagne.
The trickiest moment is the time around midnight: once the fireworks start over the old town, pavements and streets are packed and many guests want to move on at once. We therefore agree a time window for your ride home and a meeting point away from the densest crowds in advance. If your evening runs late, a call or WhatsApp message to your chauffeur is all it takes – in the city as well as at a party in the countryside or the Salzkammergut.

your New Year’s Eve chauffeur?
Ideally as soon as your plans for 31 December are fixed. New Year’s Eve is one of the most requested nights of the year, and chauffeur-driven cars are booked up earlier than on ordinary evenings. An early request lets us reserve your preferred vehicle in our planning – and, for groups, several vehicles at the same time. We recommend booking at least 24 hours in advance; short-notice bookings are possible subject to availability.
To plan your evening we need your pickup address, approximate times, the stops you have in mind and the number of guests. We suggest the right vehicle, plan sensible pickup and drop-off points around the old town and email you a fixed-price quote. If you are flying in for the occasion, we can also meet you at Salzburg or Munich airport, with flight monitoring and a name sign.
